GPS by cell phones

Recently, GPS services are made available by cell phone service providers like Nextel. They also offer services such as locating a restaurant or an airport. Once you have choosen the location, you will also be provided driving directions. However, you need to be not only within the GPS footprint, but also within the footprint of the Nextel signals.
