    RADOX® RailCat data bus cable from HUBER+SUHNER


The RADOX® RailCat data bus cable from HUBER+SUHNER has been developed specifically for the rail market and fulfils both the fire safety requirements of DIN 5510-2 and BS 6853 and the data bus cable requirements of EN50288-2-2.

Rail passengers who use WLAN-enabled laptops and PDA phones (Personal Digital Assistant) want to be able to browse the web, send and receive e-mails or access their company network while they’re on the move. This kind of service is expected become standard in all trains.

RADOXRailCat data bus cable offers high data transfer rates (CAT5/CAT5E) combined with tough mechanical properties and low flammability thanks to the special fire-resistant sheathing.

Because the RADOX® insulation is electron beam cross-linked, the cable is highly resistant to heat, chemicals and wear and can be used over a wide temperature range. RADOX® provides optimum protection for sensitive data.
