Nordic Semiconductor ASA recently introduced the nRF24AP1, a single-chip 2.4GHz transceiver with complete protocol stack designed for ultra-low power, and cost sensitive applications. The nRF24AP1 embeds Dynastream Innovations Inc.'s ANT wireless protocol with Nordic's 2.4GHz RF transceiver. The nRF24AP1 is a complete drop-in, wireless personal area network (PAN) solution. The nRF24AP1, with embedded ANT, is the suitable for customers requiring real-time wireless data transmission in an environment constrained by ultra-low power, small physical size, and total system cost. The nRF24AP1 targets product applications in the sport, medical, recreation,  industrial and other evolving wireless application marketplaces.
