Thuraya's Maritime service will cover a wide range of services including voice, data, fax, internet, e-mail and access to company's intranet local network as well connectivity to support information, weather update, e-commerce data and images. Thuraya's SeaOne Maritime services will be offered in passenger and cargo ships, yachts and tankers in Thuraya's coverage area. Thuraya's maritime rates are said to be almost the same as those it charges on land. Thuraya's Maritime units include an antenna above the deck and transmitter, standard extension phone and an antenna inside the deck.
