Huawei, China has recently announced that the provision of its industry leading 40Gbps per wavelength Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing ("DWDM") transmission system is available for global telecom carriers in Huawei's OptiX BWS 1600G and OptiX BWS 1600A DWDM solution. The solution allows operators to transmit larger capacity and long-haul DWDM signals with security, quality and flexibility. Huawei's OptiX BWS 1600G and OptiX BWS 1600A DWDM solutions now allow both 10Gbps and 40Gbps systems to co-exist and operate within the same equipment. As a result, the solutions not only meet the carriers' 40Gbps bandwidth demand, but also provide a smooth evolution.
