Head quartered in Germany, AC Microwave GmbH was founded in the year 1985 by
Prof. Rolf H. Jansen. Prof. Rolf H. Jansen has worked as a communications
industry and design consultant and now chair in one of Europe's leading
technical universities (RWTH Aachen). The company has worked with and assisted
European and international manufacturers of RF integrated circuits on various
technologies, such as LTCC and (M)MIC.
The AC Microwave activities include the following:
- Development and sales of CAD solutions incl. EM tools for RF, microwave
and mm-wave circuits, specifically the CAD software package LINMIC.
- Development of RF integrated circuits for large companies, especially in
the design of LTCC structures, hybrid MICs and GaAs MMICs. The activities
also include modern GaN power devices.
- Consulting, design and measurement for industrial, medical and
agricultural microwave heating and drying applications, based on solid state
as well as magnetron sources.
- Conceptional design and consulting in the field of wireless building
solutions.
