SEQUANS Communications, established in 2003 and headquartered in France is engaged in fabless semiconductor SoCs  and embedded software for WiMAX systems for Broadband Access. Both Base Station and Subscriber Station products, System-on-Chip (SoC) and Software solutions to build the complete PHY and MAC layers are being provided by the Company. Several features including FDD&TDD, 64-QAM, Adaptive Antenna support, Diversity, full Quality of Service (QoS) and optimized Bandwidth Scheduler are supported.

The Company products include the following:

SQN1010™: The SQN1010 System-on-Chip (SoC) provides system vendors with a comprehensive and integrated baseband solution to build Subscriber Stations for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) networks. It targets standards-based systems in compliance with the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard.

SQN2010™: The SQN2010 System-on-Chip (SoC) provides system vendors with a comprehensive and innovative baseband solution to build Base Stations for  Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) networks. It targets standards-based systems in compliance with the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard.

SQNx010-EK™: SQN1010 and SQN2010 evaluation kits are an FPGA-based platform that enables system vendors to evaluate the performance of Sequans' System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions that implement the full PHY and MAC layers for 802.16-2004 compliant Base Stations and Subscriber Stations.
